It was good until they all got girlfriends, then it stopped being about nerdy drama, and started being about relationship drama with a nerdy twist.

I feel like this show ran its course after season 2 and they just can't kill it because of all the bazinga shirts and girls who think watching it makes them geeky.

They constantly change the date it airs in an attempt to confuse the audience into forgetting about it with no avail. It is a beast that cannot be taken down. The creator asks forgiveness every day.

It's a mainstream show with the corresponding writing quality and budget. Nerds don't like it because they feel misrepresented (which is true) and the supposedly "smart people talk" is more often than not just low-brow trivia nobody should feel smart about knowing/understanding. And normies do like it because it's tailored to their taste. That said, I actually like the intro song and about one third of the jokes are funny (while the others make me roll my eyes; image related) - oh, and the laugh track is THE worst of any show I've ever seen.
