The Mummy bluray transfer is really mediocre, it's like they didn't store the original film stock properly and it was degraded. Not to mention at 1080p the CGI looks even more horrifically bad than ever before.

There is no way it's not going to look like unmitigated ass in 4K.

This. Back in the day they released the Scorpion King alongside the 2 Mummy movies. The first Scorpion movie is a prequel to Mummy Returns anyway so why not include it?
