She's very good. As good as they get in that world. Her land is highly protected from invaders, so it's got a poor reputation for outsiders, which is why Gimli has heard bad rumors.

She's probably the most powerful character on the good side, so when she's tempted by the ring, it's because she'd become such a force for evil she'd probably fuck even Sauron over. Power corrupts, etc.
