>>
>>>79744060

>>
Thinking about watching this again. Saw it 2 days ago.
>>
>>79791854
isn't it dead

>>79791893
its damn good but i dont really think there's anything that will be revealed upon a second watch

I watched Southbound last night and that was pretty fucking ass apart from coincidentally, the surgery bit
>>
>>79791601
agreed 9/10 solid movie
>>
the gap in her teeth was qt as fuck
>>
>>79792042
i imagine she was pretty cute in general desu

pale skin, narrow waist, dark hair, nice little chest, qtp2t
>>
>>79791954
>isn't it dead
yeah

I mean, post obscure/under-appreciated horror movies.

>It was fucking great

That's a bit excessive
>>
>>79792284
god. damn.

her tits did not look nearly that big in the movie hnnnnnnng

>>79792247
oh. er i have shit taste so i'm probably not the dude to launch it. I liked Last Shift a lot and i dont think that was very big.
>>

Wow, I guess my thread had some nice impact overall.
I know it's pretty well known, but Inside (2007) was entertaining to see, It's just a balls-to-the-wall gore movie, I had fun with it.
>>
>>79791601
why is this good
>>
>>79792376
I dunno, I found the aesthetic of this movie a real turn off.
>>
>>79791601
>It was fucking great

no it was shit

>haha my girlfriend just got murdered by my dad
>oh well
>movie continues like nothing happened
>>
It was meh.
>>
>>79792321
>didn't rely heavily on jump scares, 2 or 3 throughout the film
>didn't fall into typical atmosphere building, presented a true mystery and slowly kept you asking questions
>didn't go over the top with gore just for the sake of it
>spooky corpses were spooky

admittedly the came to the conclusion about her nature pretty quick and the music was a bit generic
>>
>>79792498
The mystery aspect was way better than the horror
>>
>just found out she did nude modelling

Hnnnnnnnnnhhnnng
>>
I can recommend
The Canal
House on pine street
We are still here
Under the Shadow
I am not saying these are particularly great but are a bit less known or not so often talked about. I've been watching a shitload horror with my gf (it's all we watch) but I always forget their shitty generic names. I am actually considering launching a horror movie festival
>>
>>79792785
Post gf ass
>>
found my movie, finally

thought it was great
>>
>>79792939
Kek she actually asked me to post her body on /fit/ a few times and took an ass shot yesterday to post it and ask my "forum friends" what they think. I'd never do it tho
>>
>>79793076
I'm /fit/ I can help you out
>>
>>79793076
your gf is a whore, bro.
>>
Not a recommendation but a warning. Don't waste your time with this one. Not a single interesting idea and the characters are *impossibly* annoying.
>>
>>79791685
Watch "The Invitation" on netflix.
>>
I like You're Next but idk if it counts as lesser known horror
>>
Set up was great, acting too, but the ending was just meh.
>>
>>79793493

I'll make you a deal, shill, you don't mention netflix ever again, I don't post magnets right after.

The torrent (not screenners) for Jane Doe are out or did you see it at theater ? I dont think i will see that movie out any time soon in France.
>>
is this any good?
>>
>>79793910
There are quality rips floating around.
>>
>>79793910
I don't think it even had a theater release. If it did it was probably minimal
>>
Eh they kinda revealed the spooky stuff to fast I think I wished they dragged on with the actual autopsy a little more
>>
How much does an actor get paid for just lying there for the entire film?
>>
>>79794153
scale + extra for the nudity involved
>>
>>79791601
Wasn't the vod cut? Is the film's actually running time really 86 minutes?
>>
Checked out this because of the thread yesterday.

Was a good time.
>>
>>79794307
>>
>>79793940
>>79793951
Thanks i will check out for good torrent
>>
>>79793926
It is ok. Watch the american version for prime Chloe Grace Moretz.
>>
>>79794322
Is that the movie where two old people are the main characters?
>>
>>79794453
Don't think so. They're middleaged. It's the movie where the bad guys are burned demon things.
>>
>>79794347

superb idea and very nice execution. everything even made sense, weirdly.

>>
>>79791601
>>79797000
Also just watched it.
Some of the reactions to the stuff going on felt a bit off and I want to fuck Jane Doe
>>
Why are people so easily impressed by mediocre horror movies? I notice it happens a lot.

This was shit, just like every other "great" new horror movie /tv/ recommends. It started out kind of interesting and then just devolves into the same cliched garbage you'd expect.
>>
>>79797998
Because the one eyed man is king in the land of the blind.
The horror genre is so dead and flooded with total garbage which makes average horror movies stand out.
>>
>>79798088

I think this is a big part of it, but I also think a lot of people never held Horror to the same standards as other genres.

If you found a moment in the film "scary" then it's a good horror movie, even if the acting, story, direction are all terrible and you knew exactly what was going to happen at every turn..
>>
>>79797998

its bone tomahawk all over again
>>
>>79798241
Yes, that's pathetic and I think very common.
People who complain of cheap jump scares are a minority to the ones who love it.
>>
>>79798241

What other genre has anywhere near the output of horror?

There is quite literally nothing that hasn't been done.
>>
>>79798369
Bone Tomahawk was almost excellent, faggot
>>
>>79798419
Porn :)

>literally nothing that hasn't been done
That isn't true at all. New ideas can always exist, imagination is always alive for humanity.
>>
>>79798524

No, it isn't. Take OP's movie as an example. There is no way it could have turned that wouldn't be complained about as cliche.

The Witch, people complained it turned out to be real. This movie, people complained it turned out it wasn't.
>>
>>79798419

I'm not asking anyone to remake the wheel, just do a good job.

>>79798441
>almost excellent

haha
>>
Yes, I don't hold horror (and low-budget in general) to the same standards. And yes, even if a portion of it was scary/creepy/spooky, then it's a win in my book.

That being said, OP is a genuinely good movie irregardless of genre.
Interesting location. Nice pacing. Good combo father & son combo. Good acting, especially from the father, but son did adequate job too.

Avoided the
>hey, I'm here to rescue you! HEY WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?
>*gets stabbed*
cliche regarding the sheriff.

But most importantly, it held my attention and the mystery was intriguing.

So fuck you.
>>
>>79798637
>haha
Haha, indeed, pleb
>>
What are some good asian horror movies? Prefer well shot horror movies. I loved tale of 2 sisters, Silk, Kairo, etc.

So you overrate them just for little sessions inside that give the kicks? Okay
