why did they get rid of the message boards?

Maintain my watchlist.
Look up detailed information.
Quickly list all work by actor/director etc.

Basically what I've always used it for. Never used the boards that much.

at first they said it was a financial decision. then they said it had ceased being a "positive experience" and that people were migrating from imdb to imdb's social media so it wasn't needed anymore.

To check whether some movie has a sex scene or not, so I know if I can watch it with my mom.
