yes its a little slow to start in early s1 but it turns into absolute kino. flint and silver carry the show hard though. there are some average subplots but the main plot stays really strong throughout. definitely worth watching

Yes but the first season is the weakest . Poor choreography in fight scenes, weak plot details, and it uses gratuitous sex to sell the show.

yep agreed, a bit slow at the start. your gut instinct might tell you it's just GoT with pirates (lots of sex and violence for shock value) but just keep watching. it's well worth it for the political intrigue
the only consistently bad thing about this show is the french prostitute. she is such a shit actor and i didnt care for the lesbian subplot
