1. Resident Evil-easily the best and definetally worth a watch.
2. Resident Evil Extinction- the next scariest and worth while in the series
3. Resident Evil The Final Chapter is the last one worth seeing in the series. The action and horror in it are simply breathtaking.

The rest are bad, not to make it sound like the first two are good, they are just less-bad.

5 was so incredibly shitty it made me physically uncomfortable watching it so I put it on mute while I played guitar.

Haven't seen the last one yet but I assume it's terrible too.

The first one is watchable. The rest are either terrible or terrible borderline art-house action movies.

The CGI movies (Degeneration, Damnation and Vendetta) are good and are official tie-ins made by Capcom.
