I love all three equally. Conan is great low fantasy with a great nihilistic overtone, Predator is the perfect man vs. monster film, and Die Hard has that human touch with a shitload of fleshed out characters (and it helps that literally every single thing shown on screen has a purpose to the narrative).

Basically the movie review 'industry' for that is what they call it has been in a place for decades now where going against the grain is ill-advised. There are maybe 20 or so film-reviewers in the past 50 years who have actual real opinions about things and can back it up. So what do the rest of them, the uncounted thousands do when it comes time to actually review a film and they are incapable? They ape off the afore mentioned 20.

The "review score" of a movie across the board is determined by which people get their reviews in first and how they feel, if a movie starts at 90% it will stay there, give or take a few trying to be contrarian (note, they are still contrarian even if the movie they are negative about is bad, because the reason they dislike it is purely to go against the norm and not out of any sense of understanding).
