it's 2017. If you can sit through a 2 hour movie without stopping for a videogame break then it's an accomplishment.

Skip the first 40 minutes if you do. The first half is the most cringeworthy thing i've ever seen. The war parts are cool though.

No, it is not kino at all. It is oscar bait flick tier. It's a ctrl+c ctrl+v of past ww2 films with added cheese and preachiness. Worth a watch? yes if you have nothing better to do/watch. It is a fun flick.

I don't know how you marathon a single movie, but yes it's worth watching. The most powerful war film I've ever seen. Made me cry in theaters and I'm not even a religious man. It was just beautiful

the first part is basically a hallmark movie complete with the orchestra that scored every family dramedy in the 90s. the middle is the boot camp in every war movie with every lame cliched character and tropes you can think of.. and the ending is a decent spielberg circlejerk with a long, big budgeted and ultra violent battle. but just comes off as a comedy with evil dead-like gore.

it's not a BAD movie, but if you expect the mel gibson everyone memes about you'll probably be disappointed. because for me it felt like a b movie that at the very last minute its producers got the bright idea to make this mel gibsons 'comeback' and make a shitload of money.

also the andrew garfield's accent will probably piss you the fuck off.
