John wick only works because Keanu and friends spend months training and then prepping every fight scene. Take that effort away and its any other forgettable revenge flick.

So unless Hollywoods been hiding an A list female actor who isn't snobby about putting lots of time and effort training for what amounts to silly action schlock this idea is doomed to failure.

The only women that have given John a run for his money are Perkins, assassin lady, and mute assassin lady, and that's only because he had been shot and stabbed directly before their fights. This is a man who has spent his life bathed in blood. His very name sends shivers down the spines of the hardened killers. He is known as "Death's very emissary" even among the upper echelons of the criminal world. If ANY character, man or woman, wanted to stand against him, they would have to have a bit more substance than some middle aged fuck masturbating over his fan fiction of a girl beating up John Wick.
