Holden (ship captain) and Naomi (1st mate) are both gaywad characters. It just feels like they do their best to produce artificial drama. The pilot and soldier man are decent though.

Two things I love about this show: (1) Each political faction is mixed race, so they can show the political intricacies without racebaiting. (2) This is one of the few scifi shows that does a good job on space physics.

I just started this show. One episode in. Liked the neat ideas of 3 distinct cultures developing in the vast solar system. Very Heinlein.

Though I watched 4 episodes a while ago and still can't get over Tom Jane's fucking stupid haircut

So far season 2 has been really great.
I wonder if they can keep it up.
Season 1 took some time, but it was great too by the end.
