it was a great Lost-ish sci-fi, with the mistery around the ball and all, also socio drama with all the shit collected, startinng with virginity and school bullying, through school and mall mass-masacres, to family dramas whre the child is killed because of a fucking pudding. Not to mention the handling of (alien) immigration ... and faith in gods or the lack of it.

I like it, it's like a soft reboot with characters from different chapters in one single mission.
The different boss transformation was neat since you could see previous monsters from various mission in the manga.
Not to mention all the weapons and gears ranging from the sword to the huge mech suit.
