Denzel's race is closer to win.

m8 they dropped Fences right at the end of the year and gave it a MASSIVE push because they knew what they were doing. Denzel won the SAG award which is the closest indicator for the Oscars. Denzel is also a "legend," Denzel is black, Fences is a much more Hollywood film and Casey has the sexual harassment murmurs. Prepare to be disappointed.

Apparently there's been some La La Land backlash. There's hope.
