Do y'all like Silence?

Really good movie. I didn't like that ending with camera showing cross in priest's hand. It was obvious that he did keep his faith, no need to show it maybe just for stupid people. The best scene for me was when the second priest was told that his buddy threw away christianity and later his courage to try saving the other japanese martyrs.
Solid 7,5/10 maybe even 8/10.

Not as much as I wanted to, I've heard a lot of people say it's a sort of endurance challenge and I can certainly understand that, and I did feel a lot of satisfactionwhen Garfield heard the "voice of God" speak to himbut in spite of that I can't say I enjoyed the movie too much. As many others have said, for a passion project it seemed fairly passionless.
Also I've said a few times that Garfield's narration spoiled the film for me a bit: I wanted to feel the silence he felt when he prayed, but the whole time I could hear his broken English prattling along and destroying any tension.
Saw it yesterday. great movie with great acting. Don't watch it in 60 fps though, it's terrible.

I did, it gave me a weird feeling after the end, though.
Why do Silence threads get zero traction?
I didn't like it but Jesus Christ nobody gives a shit, do they?
Scorsese's finest since Goodfellas

That's a weird way to spell Casino
It's great, specially if you're a weeb and have a hardon for nip culture.

Probably because there's no good rip out yet. It's the same reason the La La Land discussion is really mediocre.

Where's the yify rip.

It doesn't really go into Japanese culture...but it's there at the seams.
Its a good movie, sure, but fuck me its so slow. Fell asleep twice in cinema cause went to late showing.

I loved it.I might consider it Marty's best, but the impression is too fresh for me to judge properly
