if some book is turned into movie that means it was popular/good enough, vice versa never happens besides some obscure fanfiction nobody reads

The reason most people think the books are better than the movies is because they can dedicate 2 pages to what a place looks like, the color of the sky, the coolness of the air as the gentle breeze causes a leaf to fall off a tree.....where as in a movie, literally all they can show is a leaf falling off a tree.
