The IMDB boards are gone forever.
Pour a 40 out.
Welp, I didn't think they would go through with it. Panoramio has been closing down for years and thank God, you can still access their photos.
Anyway, F

Good, now can we stop fucking having threads about this?

Snake Eater is the low point of the series.
Where to go if you want to read analysis about some obscure movie now?
If you post about it here it will 2-3 replies tops and then go off to page 10.
I wonder if they'll bring them back when they realize no one uses their shitty site anymore

I still check the trivia section after every movie i watch but I hope they lose a lot of traffic as well.
Does anyone know if the boards are being archived anywhere?
People will just move on to some other site. It's not the end of the world.

the board for the movie Mikadroid: Robokill Beneath Discoclub Layla
(1991) only got about one post every 10 years. now it'll probably be every 20 years on whatever replacement takes hold
Fucking SJWs and self-serving, evil, Amazon win again. No badmouthing Amazon shows, no non-PC speech. Bullshit cop out from imdb about their reasons.
Where else can you go to find conversations on some obscure ass movie you see on TV at 2 AM? It was fascinating to find discussions about shit you always thought you were the only one to know of...now these fucks flush that all down the memory hole.
Fuck imdb. It will be dead in no time, and is an utterly irrelevant relic of Web 1.0 by Amazon's own reasoning (muh social media!) so let the rest of it die like the boards they killed off.

For me, moviechat and themoviedb are the only ones worth using. I never used the general imdb boards though, just the title specific boards. The other alternatives seem suited for that
>>79615962
themoviedb is a little late with the social features. You're better of using sites based on their API like Letterboxd or trakt.tv.
>>79617099
letterboxd doesn't look like it has title specific boards. it's mainly just reviewing stuff, creating lists, and showing off all the movies you've watched.
trakt.tv just has title specific comments inside one thread
