Heathers is honestly pretty ass. It's basically an 80s school special that warns you against something, in this case warning you not to date Christian Slater. The snobby girl talk isn't a good cheesey. The ending sucks.

Fucking garbage pseudo intellectual film. Had some good ideas, but they were executed awfully. Completely overacted and under written, jared leto is nothing more than a pretty blue eyed face. And they constantly remind you of it. The dialogue was borderline cringe at times. Also focused way too much on his past sexual relationships as if those were the only important decisions he had to make.

Heathers is definitely a film more suited towards "socially awkward" teenagers or even people in college. The musical does a better job of outright explaining this, but "being broken" by households or social pressure doesn't make one wise or above anyone else in their age group. It's for edgy young guys who might be misdirecting their testosterone into being broody, and towards young women to avoid reinforcing social stigmas
