They were posting a metric fuckton of "hit pieces" on Arrival, basically shitting on it for not being a dumb blockbuster action flick. That's just the latest in the low IQ discussion that does down on that site. I'm glad I don't use it anymore.

The problem is that movies and movie-related people can't be discussed in IMDB format anywhere else. The main draw of the whole thing was that you could click on a movie, click on the director/actor/whoever and see what people were saying about it immediately.

What's the point of that website now? Look up an actors height or age? Nope, simple Google search does that, along with everything else. Even the Travis portion of movies will be ignored now. I think this will back fire in their faces.

Yeah I won't be going to IMDB for movie shit anymore. Neither will a lot of people. They're making a very big mistake doing this, and they'll deserve the loss of traffic as a result.
