Brotherhood
>>79563272
Yeah, that was the official reason for the show's cancellation, but I read an interview with W. Earl Brown (who played Dan Dorrity on Deadwood and also appeared on Luck) where he said that Milch and Michael Mann were clashing all the time and basically found it impossible to work with each other.
Poor Sawyer

I watched all of this and it was pretty good. Not sure why every single review I've ever seen of it eviscerated it.
>>79563177
The Mann-directed pilot is great, top-tier Mann.
>>79569726
Bizarrely enough, there was a TV film
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Painkiller_Jane_(film)
then a year or two later there was the show
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Painkiller_Jane_(TV_series)
both on Syfy/Scifi Channel.
>>79569147
I actually do remember this show.
When I was little and a poorfag we only had basic broadcast channels. Every Saturday between 12 and 6 pm the WB network would air these really low budget Canadian sci fi shows, like Stargate, Mutant X, Andromeda, and Adventure Inc. This was one of the less memorable ones
Journeyman
>>79568561
It wasn't very good. Then again, neither was Firefly.
>>79566511
I watched this show when I was little and it first aired. I didn't remember it being too grey but it stuck with me so when I saw it on Netflix a few years ago I decided to watch it for shits.
Ended up being really great, definitely something that should've been on HBO for 6 seasons.
>>79567187
I remember Lights Out. Had a pretty great ending
>>79569944
i had 4 broadcast channels and would stay up to 2AM to watch this show, thought it was amazing cos i only saw the same episode repeated.
>>79566511
This was made during "Peak Fedora" if you will. So nobody wanted a Irish Catholic show on TV. Now that Colbert and Real O'Neals are big shows this might have taken off.
>>79563268
There's still threads for Sopranos, The Wire, Mad Men and even Rome, Deadwood and Boardwalk Empire, but nobody here really talks about Breaking Bad anymore, unless you count threads about Aaron Paul having no career.
