Is action cinema a lost art?

It isn't a lost art, but good quality action movies are few and far between these days.

That's why we need to support them when they come out.

It's mostly lost. You can instantly recognize when a non-action director is making an action movie.
<1 second cuts everywhere, 180 degree rule always broken, no understanding of composition, action scenes are just jumping back and forth between 3 cameras.

They think action movies aren't worth the effort because nobody can tell the difference.
