Found it quite depressing. Beautiful film if a little overwrought.

Excellent film, but it should've ended at the hospital bed. If Pan's Labyrinth is 9/10, this one's a 7.5, narrative-wise.

The animated scenes were a bit weird, but the ideas were powerful.

5. not really modified for younger audiences or older audiences, like Angry Birds movie and Where The Shitty Things Are

7. sigourney weaver accent -- WHAT THE F___
8. really stupid adult character responses
9. really stupid characters all around
