grimdark and serious James Bond only has so much appeal, especially when the film doesn't include an epic poker scene.

I have to agree. The pacing with them switching back and forth to MI6 wasn't that great as well as some lackluster action scenes and that car chase that didn't go anywhere.

A shame.

I did however love Christoph Waltz in it but he only had like 5 minutes of screen time sadly.

Too bad it looks like there won't be a sequel

The movie had good scenes
>The opening is one of the best opening of Bond films
>The meeting room scene with Waltz sitting in darkness
>The henchmen (who unfortunately was killed off too quickly)
>Craig had humor back which he was missing completely in QoS and was less selfish as he was in Skyfall as he showed to care for the love interest
>Waltz was superb as a villain and his hideout was all great (but unfortunately that it got destroyed so quickly).
Yeah there was many lackluster scenes and the 3rd act wasn't that great.

But all in all I still prefer it heaps over QoS.

Skyfall is a better made movie but I actually prefer this story but yeah it wasn't that well made.

btw when I say I liked the story: I don't mean I liked Waltz being a family friend of Bond. That needed to go but I liked the security issues MI6 talked about even though the pacing around that needed to be better, Waltz's presence was great in all the short scenes he was in otherwise yeah this movie really needs a re-edit.

I didn't like the main theme that much. You Know My Name will be Craig's best theme song.

Anyone have that Spectre Kino grid? Saw one for Skyfall and I remember someone posting one for Spectre.

It was all right

I liked it more than the last two, I think people are too hard on this flick
