I recently tried watching this show and I got all the way to the third fourth season before officially giving up on "getting it".

My biggest gripe with the show is just how poorly written the jokes are.

90% of the jokes in each episodes are puns. For example, there was this one episode where they had to give away Chestnut (the horse) temporarily, and Max (the brunet) unironically makes a joke about "horsing around".

And then comes the raging laugh-track to reinforce the illusion that you're actually having fun.

It's this insanely low-brow, barely functional writing that kills it. No real person acts like this, no real person talks like this, and no real person thinks like those portrayed in this show.

It took me four fucking seasons to realize that this was never getting any better.

It has a nice strong undertone of /u/ though which would have been more interesting if they actually played it out a little.

But it's still incredibly unrealistic that they never even entertain it. Like in one episode they do actually visit a strip club for Han (the little asian guy). Even in that episode Max, the lose and slutty one, doesn't ever even speculate "if I did that I could make 50 times what we do now".
