Anybody watched this? I kinda like it, so lets talk about it
its real creepy and fun
can't wait for the second season, glad it was renewed before even the first episode premiered because no one watched it at all when it was on

after watching and enjoying many shows whose first season ends in cliff-hanger and gets cancelled no second season, i seldom watch first seasons. i usually wait until second season gets aired. i watched first few eps of outcast but when it became clear there's a mystery i was not eager to watch the rest of the season because they might end season without any reveals and it might get cancelled.

starts out as demons/exorcisms but in later episodes it seems that they areextra-terrestials

Depends, no one really watches Cinemax anyway.
Non-major networks tend to factor in critical acclaim much more into their decision process. For example, The Leftovers had legendarily low ratings but HBO gifted it a third season because of how good it is. So if Outcast continues to be received well it'll probably have a 3-4 season run like Banshee and Strike Back.

I read the first arc of the comic. Dug it.
Watched the show. I think it's even fucking better than the comic. I actually really like it.

Depends. I think being on Cinemax hurt it, because even among premium channels, Cinemax has a crappy reputation.
But Robert Kirkman's name seems to print money these days. If Cinemax does the smart thing, and puts this somewhere else (Netflix, Amazon, etc.) it could actually catch on.
>It's a Cinemax make the best shows but no one watches them episode
Season 2 of Quarry never.
