Really? Of all characters, they give VITO an arc?

Remember when he was buying cakes but crissy didn't even say hello
wtf was that about?
>>79445665
Foreshadowing. All he had was cakes. Johnnycakes.
its hard to sympathize with someone so fat and ugly

i really hated vito's whole arc. the guy is a scumbag IRL as well.
>>79445753
He had an entire pool stick shoved up his ass.
That requires some sympathy, right?
>>79445789
The actor is a scumbag, how so?
>>79445804
nope, pretty funny actually
>>79445841
trying to monetise Tony's death, hard to work with, made shit up about the cast and goings on for a quick buck

Hollywood queers had to find a way to shoehorn their sexual identity politics into the show. No show can be without it.
Gravy's good tonight

pretty sure a good chunk of the sopranos cast outside the main guys are were barely acting
see: Larry boy barese, bevilaqua , paulie

That was risqué in the late 90s, a bit of an oddity. Now it's obviously full blown and derivative shit, a character's defining trait can be black or gay, it's not edgy or hip just pandering a useless

But he had no arc. He had a chance to change, but couldn't handle hard work and wanted back in the cushy mob lifestyle.
One of the main motifs in the show is people failing to change and improve.

Hi arc had an important purpose in the show, if you homophobic twats could think for a second and realize it.
His arc shows how hard it is for any of the guys in the mob to get out of it. Not from a "getting away" sense but when you're in that life with those freedoms it's almost impossible to have a normal life after.
He could have pulled Furio and disappeared, probably back to Europe, but instead he just went to a neighboring state, tried to be normal, got bored, went back and got whacked.

this was 2006
With Matt Weiner writing the show, there has to be gayness.
