Good we need to nuke /tv/ now and the deed will be done.
imdb had message boards? lawl
>>79399174
What's with sites shutting down comments and message boards all of the sudden?
It's just text, how hard can it be to maintain/store?
>>79399174
>2 weeks
>ample time to archive
lol fuck off. not that I used them, but still
nothing of value will be lost
It was really the only place on the internet where you could find discussions on obscure films no one cares about
What a dumb decision

Allowing people to speak on the Internet is how Drumpf got elected in the first place.
>>79401632
It's politically motivated re: trump

>The free exchange of ideas is dangerous and must be stopped
Thank you, based Rabbi.

>If nobody calls us out on being shitty journalists, nobody will know we're shitty journalists!
I still don't know why imdb is doing this though
>>79402098
>I still don't know why a site funded by advertising from Hollywood studios would want to close a forum full of people bitching about Hollywood
>>79399174
Uh, who gives a literal fuck? Are there any 13 year olds on 4chan who use the imdb message boards?

its more that the left is trying to prevent people from having a voice because it goes against their narrative. same with the "fake news" bullshit that they've been banging on about since the US elections.
a ton of lefty sites have already removed comments entirely, more will follow, and the only ones to benefit from this blatant censorship is the right, because now the right is the champion of free speech and discussion, while the left is promoting censorship.
