yes the movie is historically inacurate and the crusades where completely justified, but it's a fucking movie, not a documentary. I don't say "shut off your brain during a movie", but i simply do not care about supposed propaganda in film. Be it whitewashing, blacking, pandering to muslims and feminists. Almost all "propaganda" is just added by executives so people consume their shit, it has nothing to do with actual brainwashing. It's the movies reacting to current political culture and views to sell shit. If it were the other way around then it would be brainwashing.
I just watch movies for their entertainment value (atleast movies like this; if i want to have my worldview challanged i know i won't get that from such films), recognize them for what they are and don't stress about the supposed politics.
