I thought this was actually pretty good, if unnecessary.
that's the consensus
>the one time in 20 years renton comes home is conveniently the same time begbie decides to break out of prison
Really makes you think.
>renton has a heart problem that is literally never mentioned again in the movie

It is tho
>begbie inexplicably knows mikey forrester has a business that buys stolen goods even though he has been in prison for 20 years
>he also knows the location of this place

Mikey was mentioned in the first movie.

Yeah, did seem like a bit of a stretch.
Still, I suppose they needed a way to have Begbie in the film.
>renton is essentially a long distance runner now
>begbie manages to keep up with him as he chases him
7/10 Tbh
Decent but very unnecessary, basically telling a story we didn't really need. Good performances from Bremner and Carlyle. Weak soundtrack compared to the first.

do you really think a mad cunt like begbie on viagra wouldnt be able to keep up with him
I've seen people outrun some fit cops when shitfaced, you can't underestimate the power of the fuckers with mustaches
MEGA MEGA WHITE THING MEGA MEGA WHITE THING
certain scenes spake to me an all
Seemed a bit soft compared to Welsh's usual stuff.
I was uncomfortable during the entire film anticipating something dreadful happening, but it never did.

Seemed a bit sentimental. To give everyone a happy ending seemed like, to take away some of the edge of Trainspotting where it was such an important thing for Renton to get away from the life. If someone like Spud can come away basically fine then it seems a bit cheap.
