/tv/ remember me?

I didn't finish watching you because you were very underwhelming. HBO has a huge budget and this show has a talented cast. Too bad the writing was mediocre.
Scenes with Hopkins are

This. I was hoping it'd be more of a prestige drama sort of thing but now it's mostly brainless fun. Trash tv.
>>79366303
I only remember your terrible twists almost ruining the entire series.
>>79366466
not really, you can see hopkins doesn't want to be there and he's just slacking it for the paycheck.

But it works because the role was literally written around that

Well now
this show is objectively a complete and total waste of resources and time
it needs to either be forgotten or held up as an example of what not to do
I had to rewatch most of it as I gave up around 6 episodes in when it was airing but I wanted to finish it.
I found it a lot more enjoyable when I just skipped all the scenes with Maeve, her scenes really drag the whole thing out whilst adding nothing of value.

>I just skipped all the scenes with Maeve, her scenes really drag the whole thing out whilst adding nothing of value
I don't know why she received so much praise. Her storyline was not only boring, it was redundant and was an absolute screen hog.

and to imagine that /tv/ was jerking off to this show a few months ago.
this board is literally trash.

Hopkins was the best thing about the season by far, and he's obviously more than aware of it.
Everyone including me expected what you said at first though, it was a nice surprise

Both checked, very nice
>"holy shit, Westworld is the next LOST!"
>no one really talks about it much anymore
>meanwhile, in 2005 there were dozens of fan forums dedicated to LOST in several languages, everyone was using the numbers in the lottery, and the hype for season 2 would be able to power a small nation for years if it could be converted into energy

The problem was that it somehow managed to avoid being fun and light hearted while also not being serious or well written. It did literally nothing well
