Seriously guys, I have over 100 active threads on IMDb forums. What am I going to do with my life?
You can always shitpost here with the rest of us.

I do already, but somehow it is more organized to shitpost in IMDb, since they have a different board for every single film, tv series and celebrity =/

Yeah, it's a shame. I never even posted much myself, but I'd always check the boards immediately after watching a movie to read everyone's retarded opinions and contrived interpretations.

TCM Message boards are pretty nice. The off-topic chit chat is basically all Trump and alt-right stuff.

In an age where websites are screaming for audience input, how does this make any sense?
>>79357096
same
it's a bummer :(

I think it does make perfect sense. Many sites are moving away from offering any kind of internal discussion feature, like comment sections or boards. Some replace them with Disqus or Facebook comment plugins, others just straight up tell you to fuck off to their shitty social media pages if you want to give feedback (which is what IMDB is doing). Seems like after the Web 2.0 boom, everything's in the process of scaling things back to a more centralized experience where everything links back to the same handful of social media sites instead of offering standalone message boards.

Amazon owns imdb
They don't give a fuck

I do the exact same thing. Plus I like reading peoples actual opinions before I read the shitposting on /tv/

>all Trump and alt-right stuff
And this is supposed to sell it to me how?
>>79356438
Why did they stop the comment section? i never saw anything bad on them. Were there a lot of pro-trump comments?

Ok, the thing is that each film has its own forum, so there is a lot of variety regarding which type of people go and participate. From my experience, if you go to a popular film or tv show forum (Big Bang Theory or Star Wars) the level of shitposting is unbearable, new threads appear literally every second, so it is impossible to keep a discussion. Likewise, this tends to attract younger and trollish posters. On the other hand, more unknown films have extremely slow forums, some threads are decades old!
