I'm 99% sure that was deliberate. It reminded me of the shootout from Life Aquatic.

pilot was pure kino until that action sequence at the very end. I kinda get the feeling that it's just gonna turn into a superhero show now and the pilot will never get topped. Maybe it should have been a movie instead i dunno

Visually gorgeous. Interesting premise. Absolutely zero momentum.

I genuinely fear this will be an entire TV series of well-shot sequences with interesting themes but absolutely no reason for the viewer to care about the characters or storyline. Despite being more conventional, the first episodes of all the Marvel Netflix shows painted better pictures of who their protagonists were and what the show was aiming to be.

good pilot, i assume the shitty action sequence was bc of a low budget for said pilot, everything else was great. i only know a bit about legion but it seems like they're adapting in an interesting way. i figure for people that don't know legion's powers that they might think he's a boring telekinetic from the first episode and drop but whatever.

I'm pretty annoyed they didn't reveal all those mutants were in his head at the end of the episode.

I mean, they obviously are. Now they're going to drag it out for the whole season where it'll be this big Tyler Durden twist.

Would've been better to just get it out of the way early, I already sat through this with Mr Robot.


...Also, did anyone else notice that they had the new MCU Marvel logo after the credits, and not the old one they still use in all the X-Men movies? What does that mean? Is it because FOX needed Marvel's permission to make the show?
