It's too much like Antitrust (2001), same basic idea, some talented person gets hired by a megacorporation run by a megalomaniac intent on world domination by spying on everything, figures it out, then the chases and dramatic bullshit to make some poetic view on the world we live in today with a nice happy-feel-good ending to it.

Not really interested in this one, I can rewatch Antitrust anytime.

The Firm - totally fucked the book ending in the movie, altered it entirely (everybody goes away happy save for the bad guys)

Jurassic Park - in the original novel EVERYBODY DIES except the two Docs and the two kids, the government that owns the island nukes it, nothing left, it's all gone but of course they couldn't make a movie like that and so they ended it gracefully with a happy ending and then shoved so much cash down Crichton's throat he coughed up a sequel in response which there never was meant to be.

I could go on but the point holds, this movie already has a different ending than the book and it's nothing like the words on the page.
