Taxi driver's the only one I'd watch a second time
Casino is his only good film.
Misunderstood, but not even close to Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Departed, King of Comedy, After Hours, and Mean Street.

Everything before Kundun.
I am really interested in Abrahamic religions, so I went to see this to observe Scorsese's Christian views and was utterly disappointed. I've read Soseki's O-baka-san and thought that was good and kind book to heal people's hearts. And I've expected deep spiritual boundaries and complex emotions. But besides episodes in the first village and first talk with Fereira, it was bland movie, especially parts when Rodriguez goes polemical with Inoue. Ending was pleasing, though.
