I always thought women tend to rate things more often and that makes for the plebby ratings of Netflix.

I kept seeing documentaries about Fritzl or street whores or porn stars having abysmal ratings, and expected women just being women, aka "I find the topic unplesant therefore the documentary is of shit quality". It made sense to me as I don't really know why Netflix would automatically suggest such ratings when I've never rated anything there even once.
