Lion is the only one I watched but to me it looked like one of those movies purposely made to move the spectator to tears, the plot is nothing new to be honest. It's a bit touching but surely nothing new as I said. Shouldn't really win

What really got me in the feels was when you find out saroos brother was hit by a train while saroo was sleeping which is why he never returned for saroo and he went 25 years believing that his brother was alive. mustve been tragic for the mother to have lost 2 sons in one night.
