We're still probably six months or so away from the big, revelatory books coming out about the campaign that they'll make into an HBO movie.

I'd guess, as of now, Glenn Close for Clinton. Larry David seems obvious for Sanders but I don't see them repeating an SNL choice, so I'd guess Elliott Gould.

Trump's harder to cast, given Hollywood's antipathy towards him but it's a meaty role for an older actor. Robert Redford would be a good fit but he might find the role distasteful given his well known liberalism and is nearing retirement. Nick Nolte might be a fit, though perhaps Jeff Daniels or Jeff Bridges might be better.

As to the other candidates I imagine they might get some character actors (Jim Belushi needs to play Cruz) to play them and focus on the advisers like they did in Game Change.
