I don't hate it, I enjoyed it, I just think It's overrated and the culture we have today about media entertainment means people will completely overlook the flaws in it. It's like a solid 6.5/10. It's got some good aspects too it, It's enjoyable enough that I'd recommend it and am looking forward to the next season but lets not pretend like It didn't have it's issues.

I think people fundamentally don't understand reactionary behaviour and contrarianism. Stranger Things is fine, It's decent. But because so many people claim It's amazing, so many other people feel compelled to say it's shit just there is balance. They go hand in hand. You can't have contrarianism without also having unwarranted excessive praise.

For some reason this movie really takes me back to my childhood days of going to blockbuster video store.
I remember when I was like 9 and my moms close friend had a daughter (19-20) who worked at the local video store. My mom arranged for the schoolbus to drop me off there because my mom worked late.
It was cool. She let me play on the PS2 display cabinet. And watch movies. And during her breaks she used to make me play this game in the backroom where I had to lie down and she'd climb on top and try to tickle me, but the twist was that she "wasnt allowed to use her hands". She invented this game and basically would dry-hump me for like 10-15 minutes at a time.

She'd be there hard grinding against my confused boner and heavy breathing, making noises and the whole time I'd be smiling like an idiot because I thought I was winning.

At the end of the last episode the kids are fighting a Thessalhydra in D&D. I'm guessing that's what they're going to call this thing. Like the Demogorgon it isn't meant to be a 1:1 version of that creature, but it's interesting that the Thessalhydra and the Greek monster it's based off can regrow their heads, whereas this thing seems to have a lot of legs -- and some of them fork into two. Maybe it can regrow two new legs if one of them gets cut off by something... bigger? I don't think we can gather much information from this teaser and the season itself will probably leave a lot to the imagination as well.
