Everybody had to leave their homes to move to his shiny citadel or get ravaged by rape trolls. Even then Falconia has legions of hungry apostles just behind the scenes waiting for another inevitable eclipse.

Maybe I'm an autist, but I read Berserk at the right time in my life. I was young, naive but beginning to understand the world. I switched schools, kept my friends but I became so alone. I read through the Golden Age and learned the importance of friendship, began opening up to the people in my life, letting them know how much they mean to me. I became closer to my gf than ever before, letting her not just know but feel how much I loved her. I felt a synergy between me and Guts, like we learning and growing parallel to one another. And then I got to the Eclipse and it tore my fucking heart out.

I unironically think Azula is one of the best villains I've personally seen in TV kino history.

What's so amazing about the character is how they somehow hit a sweet spot balances where the villain is immensely competent but it doesn't feel forced, trite, or mary sue (mostly). She was genuinely a threat every time she showed up to ruin the protagonists day - with things almost always dramatically changed for the worst by the end.

Also before they went and tried to make her more sympathetic with a faggy tragic past it was really fun to see how she was so unapologetically malevolent/sociopathic in personality while still being charming and sane. I could see why evil empire minions followed her.
