What I don't get is why Apocalypse Now! is even on the list, when you already got the far better Deer Hunter on it.
Sure, Apocalypse Now! is more about the "nature of war" and the heart of man, than the Vietnam experience specifically, but I think Apocalypse Now! does a really bad job of showing it.
Then again, I never liked The Heart of Darkness or Spec Ops: The Line either. Maybe that's just a philosphy I don't agree with/don't recognize in myself.
