Is this Villeneuve's best work?
>>79146721
maybe. I remember it being really terrible though.
Yes, tied with Prisoners.
Arrival could've been, the half-assed ending notwithstanding.
>>79146721
yes. great film. next question?
>>79146742
>terrible
how so?
>>79146721
SICARIO
>>79146721
why was there no talk on here about him directing the new Dune movie?
Probably yeah, even if it does hinge on a twist which is something I hate
Prisoners doesn't hold up at all on rewatch, Sicario is better, haven't seen Polytechnique, Enemy or Arrival but none of them caught my eye
I want Blade Runner 2049 to be good so I'm sure it'll be trash
>>79146891
There was, but there's not much to say at this point.
>>79146937
Polytechnique is pretty good, considering the delicate subject matter.
>>79146937
I didn't really like the twist, but the rest of the film was so fucking ace
>>79146721
it's his worst

I just said it

Incendies is a strange and documental in a way and liked this uniquely foreign atmosphere to it.
Prisoners had me on the edge of my seat the whole time and was brutal. But it didn't have this same effect.
Enemy was sort of a side project, was intriguing for a while but it was just too much like a tv movie with some good ideas. didnt feel it
Then there's sicario which i am yet to see, hopefully i can watch it online somewhere
>/tv/ now hate Villeneuve cause hes popular.
Stay classy.

Only work by Villeneuve I enjoy is Next Floor.
