It was pretty broad humor in the first place, not exactly sharp wit or anything.

Some of the humor can be outdated (a few old references and such, like a Dan Quayle joke or whatever), but most of MWC's humor derived from character archetypes and individual interactions. Human behavior hasn't changed in a generation, so it's a treat to see, especially since it's so crass at times. It really says a lot about how social standards may evolve (what's taboo today may have been perfectly acceptable yesterday), but it reveals that individuals themselves don't really change that much.

Besides, some things never get old. Like the poems about the nudie bar, or NO MA'AM. Those are wonderful classics.
