What do we think of Death Proof?
goat food scene on par with goodfellas (nachos)
I thought it was stupid
makes me hungry for barbeque
The scene in the beginning is great. Quentin's acting is the weakest, per usual.
>didn't see MEW get raped by the hillbilly
One fucking job, Quentin

Grindhouse was the most fun theater going experience I've ever had. But I've got a soft spot for 70's car-sploitation flicks so I personally loved everything about deathproof. Most of the advertising focused on planet terror, so deathproof was a total pleasant surprise for me.
Also at the end where the girls start kicking Kurt russels ass the entire audience was cheering.
Best Tarankino.
I wanted that black bitch to fuck me hard
Dull. Tarantino's biggest crime is inspiring other directors (such as Ti West) to emulate period-specific bits of worthless trash to perfection, akin to turning a young poet towards pitch-perfect replication of Varney the Vampire.
Take away the man's "homages," his directorial fetish shots, and the soundtrack undoubtedly playing next door while his mama got railed by the buck of the week and there's not a lot left.
Boring as fuck first half but a damn fine car chase.

I'm surprised it gets so much hate.

Kurt running over those annoying cumdumpsters was gratifying, made the painful first half worthwhile.
