It will never die now. No matter how bad each new season gets, no matter how many character traits are flushed down the toilet to make them wackier and more zany by exaggerating that one trait they have that fans love, no matter how many pop culture references they start cramming in that have no meaning, the show will never die now.
There are simply too many new fans of the show who thoroughly enjoy the generic and predictable reference show it has become. It is headed towards being the new Big Bazinga Theory and their fanboys will only become more and more adamant that "you're just a contrarian" or the old classic from the Big Botswana Theory days "You just hate fun"

The woman that ruined Community is in charge this season

The only decent episodes this season have been Old Lady House and this week's. The Gang Turns Black is one of their worst episodes so far.

The show hasn't turned unwatchable by any means, but this season has definitely had more misses than hits.

Just discovered Always Sunny and absolutely loved every episode of the first season and I was like "OMG there's 11 more seasons of this!" But so far the first few episodes of season 2 are leaving me cold. What happened?

The new season was nothing but a bag of gimmicks, thrown together with the idea that a references are inherently funny, as most of the episodes are: "Woah remember this from previous seasons lmao". It does not offer anything original, it relies on the "reddit" factor of the viewer - he will like it because he considers it to be funny or true, see: Gangs turn black. the episode is shit with the gimmick (or the joke as they would call it) being that the gang turns black, that's it, nothing else happens besides the gang being black. Inherently this isn't either funny nor interesting, but the reddit factor loves it because "lmao it's so true". The show shows not a glipse of originality, it only shows what the dumbed down masses of reddit wants - conformity with the unoriginal and banal.

The show jumped the shark and if you defend it, you're literally retarded or you're a woman.
