Why the fuck is no one talking about the GOAT sequel?
Not in America yet.
There'll be fuck all threads about it until the first bluray rip appears. Then there'll be one every 20 minutes. Lonely shut-ins don't get to the cinema much.
Look at Sicario. Nothing until dvd/bluray rips appear and then shitposting and memeing non stop for months.

America's T2 is way better.

Saw a promo at the movies this week here in LA. Looks like a total money grab meant to recapture their aging original fanbase same old "choose life" "you're an addict so be addicted to good" bullshit

I enjoyed the original and I love Danny Boyle but I can't muster any enthusiasm for this AT ALL.
Like if it was on this screen right now I'd probably close my laptop.
What was up with the music whenBegie hangs Mark?It was so off the mark and devalued the whole scene, made it laughable, what were they thinking?
Also, we're expected to believethey took heroin again in one scene and then they stop?Or, if they didn't, I'd expect another mention of it at least as something continued
It was alright
I honestly liked this film a lot. I think the motifs of nostalgia played in well into the film and as a commentary on the audience.
Not in America :(

>spud steps out on to street
>slowed version of born slippy
>sees him and renton running at start of first film
this was such a nostalgia grab but so good

the whole film is about the benefits of nostalgia in regulation, and not getting caught up in it like Begbie.
>>79038975they didn't take heroin again it was a metaphor

takes time for them to subtitle it so redneck americunts dont complain when they cant understand it

stay mad muhammad
Saw it yesterday. It's ok, nothing special.
Good film that makes you feel a bit sad it's all over, where the first film ended a bit more openly.
Definitely worth watching if you've seen the first but you probably won't rewatch it nearly as much - themes of nostalgia don't hold up as well as a generally good story.
