Most dated? Live and Let Die. A blaxpoitation Bond Film that has aged like milk. Not even the racist overtones in You Only Live Twice can match it. Brosnans Die Another Day is pretty close as well.

We get it, you got the license for Blofeld and SPECTRE back after incomprehensively losing them somehow.
That's like having the copyright for Peter Pan but not Captain Hook, Sherlock Holmes but not Watson. Or DC comics losing the rights to Superma...oh.

Anyway, my point is, just because you have the rights back DOES NOT MEAN you HAVE to make a film.
It was a film too far for Craig, exactly like Octopussy was for Moore and Die Another Day for Brosnan.
The only good thing about it is that it takes the heat right off Quantum of Boris.

Laughable
Honestly, Bond can sometimes be at his best when he's completely laughable. Moonraker is hilarious for multiple reasons. Not least because it has a villain doing almost the EXACT same plot (it even has the same hench-villain in the form of Jaws!) as the previous film. It's like they forgot they'd just done the Spy Who Loved Me.

It's Die Another Day.

Plot: A North Korean general's son escapes death and rebuilds his entire body to look like a white nobleman using conflict diamonds, and becomes a billionaire out of nowhere with a shitty cover story about finding diamonds in Iceland.

He builds a giant ice palace in Iceland as an evil lair, and uses his fortune to build a giant satellite that can harness the power of the sun into laser beams. His pretense is that they can use the sun to grow crops in empoverished places, even though it's likely the soil that keeps the land from growing anything.

His ultimate plan is to gather North Korea's generals and show his orbital laser off to them to win back dad's approval and destroy the west with a new superweapon. Also, this superweapon doesn't have a standard control system, it is operated using a suit of Spy Kids 3D power armor which can also shoot lightning bolts.

James Bond has a car that can turn invisible.
