NCFOM is very good but TWBB is much better, it's a modern masterpiece

There Will Be Blood.

No Country for Old Men is a character study of a character we don't spend enough time with to get to know, and who we hardly learn anything about by the end anyway. Everything involving the protagonists is dull. At least we stay with Daniel throughout the entirety of There Will Be Blood and actually understand him more over the course of the film.

No Country for Old Men strongest points were basically the boots and running parts and wide scape shoots
