Why is this kino so underrated ?
It's a convoluted mess.

Yeah if you have an attention span of a 2 year old

>>78904961
Look at all the people clamoring to agree with you that this is kino samefag
Because plebs gonna pleb
This was excellent, Oldman was snubbed at the academy awards.
>>78904961
>All Star cast
>the tension buildup
>and the immersive atmosphere of living a life as a spy
It's kino to me.
It's fucking good.
Anyone who says otherwise is an uncultured faggot.
Gotta be honest, I didn't understand anything when I watched it 3 years ago
>tfw to intelligant for smart films
>>78904961
it's too complex
however that cast is litteraly a 10/10 british cast, all that talent in that pic + Tom Hardy + Cumberbatch + Mark Strong
Only guy missing is Magneto guy
>>78905339
it's not that really hard to follow. It's about a mole.
>>78904961
Took me two watches to get into it, but it was great the second time.
>>78904961
It's so fucking good.
Speaking of movies where Colin Firth is the villain, have you seen Bridget Jones ?
>>78904961
TV series were better
>>78904985
this, and a boring mess to boot
It's a bit hard to follow and could've been edited better in that regard. I was recommended to read a summary of the story the first time i watched it, which really helped, and today it is one of my favourite films. The BBC series with Alec Guinness is a great watch if you enjoyed Alfredsons Tinker tailor, especially Smiley's People.
>>78904961
It's immaculate, but the director's previous film was even better. Swedekino is here to stay.
Luke, did I ever tell you about Control?
He was the best spy in the continent, and a good friend
I finally watched it yesterday. Excellent kino.
Any other movies in the same style?
>>78905580
The way I see it, the British are evil.
>>78904961
Because the TV-miniseries from the 70s were much better.
>>78905631
Watch 'A Serbian Film', a very similar movie about smiley getting cucked
>>78904985
>>78905514
*shits in your philistine mouths*
honestly its dogshit.
I read the book literally days before this was released in cinemas. Skips out a lot of shit, reduces well developed characters to plot points, and has some terrible pacing issues.
>>78904961
Just look at how fucking great this cast is. Every single actor here is a fucking 10/10 great.
>>78906202
because that means anything.
Also mention Pacino-De Niro film which released few years ago
>>78906249
They stopped trying awhile ago though
I need more spy movies like this
>in July 2016 Oldman confirmed that the sequel was in its early stages, stating "There is a script, but I don't know when we will shoot."[46]
SHIIIIIIIET
