It was actually a pretty cool show for a while then just became flat-out retarded. I like the Immortal-of-the-Week storylines, and Evil Duncan was a hoot. But once they started piling on the lore with the Watchers and the Anti-Watchers and all that stuff it just fell to bits.
>utilized the "scarred voice" concept better and more creatively than The Kurgan did
>had his reasons to hate MacLeod, but they didn't make him sympathetic
>actually beats MacLeod the first couple times they fight
>beats FitzCairn, Methos, and Amanda in fair combat
Best villain.
I'm only on season one so far. Why does he always let the evil women immortals go?
>>78895534
Being the best villain in the forth rip-off is no accomplishment.
>>78896044
It's one of MacLeod's consistent character traits that he has a soft spot for chicks. In the DVD extras they even say that it'll probably get him killed.

never realized mr krabs had such perfect bone structure
>>78896157
I can never really get into Spongebob after connecting the two.
>>78896105
The Kurgan's voice barely even changed after his throat was cut. Kalas' prized singing voice, which he valued above all else, was utterly ruined. It was a much better use of the concept.
you now remember the child immortal
you now also remember the mentally retarded immortal
>>78896193
Main thing I remember is that this show didn't shy from the boobage
I liked that
>>78896193
It makes sense; Immortals aren't all going to be handsome golden gods.
damn, Elizabeth Gracen, you fuckin' fine
>>78896415
I never got around to watching Raven
>>78896193
There was that ultra-qt singing backup in that episode.
>>78896440
why the fuck would you
>>78896385
Holy shit, I never realized that was the dude who played Lucius until just now.
>>78896470
That's why, I honestly couldn't think of a reason
I did watch Endgame, though
>>78896510
it wasn't that bad
>>78896188
>>78896562
Not saying The Kurgan wasn't fun or badass, I'm just saying Kalas was more original.
>>78896470
joe dawson has a cameo
>>78896662
>>78896193
>the mentally retarded immortal
The one that loved the trains? Man that one hit me pretty hard.

>>78896105
>>78896186
Why didn't he just shave his head? Why?
>>78896929
Well, yeah.
anybody still have any of the merch catalogs? looking back the corny commercials were almost better than the reruns
>>78896806
The series in general improved on a lot of the movies' concepts.
Adrian > Christopher
Duncan > Connor
The series was the best thing to happen to the franchise.
>>78897300
This. If highlander is rebooted it should be as a series
>>78897344
Could you really pull off a Highlander reboot, though? Everyone's got a camera in their smartphone nowadays, so how could the Immortals be kept a secret?
>>78897417
I don't think logic is a pressing issue here anon
Or if you wanted to write it off somehow, just have a Watchers-type group enforcing their own little coverup
Reminder that the prize can only be won by someone who is pure of heart and shows mercy.
>>78897077
>>78897460
This, also you could set it in another time period
did immortals stop being made? how can there become only one when immortals keep cropping up?
>>78897913
This is the thing about the Highlander franchise; the more you think about it the more retarded it gets. The original movie works well because it's an awesome music video that never gives you time to think, so you can ignore stuff like that. The sequels failed because they tried to come up with answers for things and it all got retarded right away. The series did better because it avoided that largely, and started to go downhill once they began exploring/explaining things.
Marcus > all other villains
>>78897913
The rules change from movie to movie. it's the most inconsistant franchise ever
