Each movie from the prequels showed you new planets.

Naboo, the verdant planet populated by esthete humans who had a hard on Chrome-plated ships and also first time we saw Coruscant in Ep1
Kamino and Geonosis in Ep2
In Ep3 you had dozens of planets. Some were just on screen for a few secs, the time that some jedi is executed like Felucia or Mygeeto.
