I haven't seen 'why him', but judging from the trailer and reviews, it's not even funny despite being a comedy.

Live By Night was... uneven, never connected to the main character (Affleck), great 20's era feel though.

Split rode largely on McAvoy's great acting, but it was a good thriller in it's own right and kept you guessing.
